Permission was given for James Mchenry (GB) to wear a red hood to post and for Fools Rush In (IRE) to go early to post and to be mounted on the chute.
Leaving the stalls, Redarna (GB), placed third, jumped left-handed moving the winner, James Mchenry (GB), off its intended line, which in turn, caused interference to Fools Rush In (IRE), placed fourth.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Redarna (GB).
