Permission was given for Tillybob (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
Inside the 2 furlong marker Mr Trevor (IRE), placed fifth, hung quickly right-handed for 1 hit, taking Dash Gordon (IRE), unplaced, off its intended line, causing the gelding to be checked off the heels of Sydney Bay (GB), placed third.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and had not improved the placing of Mr Trevor (IRE).
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Havana Sky (GB), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
The explanation given by the representative of Ed Dunlop that the gelding may have benefited from a drop back down in trip to 6 furlongs from 1 mile, was noted.
Havana Sky (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that My Boy Jack (GB), placed second, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
Cieren Fallon reported that Dash Gordon (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout.
Paul Mulrennan reported that Thunderstorm Katie (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
