He was too keen but he got away with it. We made our minds up that there was no point holding on to him today and let him bowl away,. The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Bid Adieu, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, Financial Conduct, ridden by S. Foley, placed fourth and Clear Skies (GB), ridden by P.B. Beggy, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.
