Dundalk preview
Shane Crosse has partnered a double and treble on his last two visits to Dundalk — and looks to have another strong book of rides on Friday night at Ireland’s all-weather track. Fri 16th Nov97 and counting for brilliant Keane
"This is Colin Keane's night, this is Colin Keane's year, he's gone ten clear and that's the championship," said commentator Des Scahill as the man of the moment in the weigh-room again pleased many a punter in bringing up a Dundalk treble. The 194/1 hat-trick was completed aboard Tom McCourt's Ben Rumson in the concluding race, division two of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Handicap. Wed 01st NovReview dundalk 1st Nov

He was too keen but he got away with it. We made our minds up that there was no point holding on to him today and let him bowl away,. He took a tug for an awful long way and I didn't think he'd get home. He must be a fair tool. You could see where he went before he could pull him up. He couldn't pull him up. He had a look out of greenness but it's only his third run. He was bought to go jumping. Mr Brooks owns him and he'll more than likely go back to England now. I've my job done — but you never know I might hold on to him! I'm doing a lot of pre-training for him and picking up horses here and there. He jumps super and I'd say a hurdle might just knock him back. He'll be a grand dual purpose horse.
