Permission was given for The Tron (GB) and Hala Be Zain (IRE) to go early to post.
Further permission was also given for Nellie French (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post.
The Starter reported that Ascot Jungle (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 16.

Clare Hobson was informed that the mare could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong involving Blackcurrent (GB), placed second, ridden by Dale Swift, The Tron (GB), placed third, ridden by Morgan Cole and Dirchill (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Connor Beasley.
Being a 7lb claimer, Cole was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Blackcurrent (GB) as The Tron (GB) appeared to lose little momentum as a result of the interference and always being held by Blackcurrent (GB), beaten ½ length at the line.
The interference was found to be accidental as Blackcurrent (GB) shifted quickly left-handed away from the whip, causing the rider of Dirchill (IRE) to take a check, which in turn shifted left, bumping into The Tron (GB), which was subsequently taken slightly off its intended line.
Following the race Derek Shaw confirmed the report from Zak Wheatley that Hala Be Zain (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
Katie Scott confirmed the report from Phil Dennis that Nellie French (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
