The performance of Lucky Ava (GB), which started second-favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
It was noted that Conrad Allen could offer no explanation for the filly’s performance on this occasion and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Lucky Ava (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Ray Dawson reported that Shanko (GB), unplaced, ran too free.
