Permission was given for Beach Point (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 ½ furlongs out when Fram Castle (IRE), placed third, ridden by John Egan interfered with Pink Ticket (GB), unplaced, ridden by Kieran Shoemark and Saratoga Star (GB), unplaced, ridden by Charles Bishop.
Egan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he switched his mount right-handed into an insufficient gap, giving a bump to Pink Ticket (GB) and unbalancing it, which in turn made contact with Saratoga Star (GB) on its outside.
Following the race, John Egan reported that the saddle slipped on Fram Castle (IRE), placed third.
