I wasn't at Kilbeggan but it was a nice run. He was due his turn although you'd often be due a turn and it'd never come!. He might go for the same type of race, we'll see what the handicapper'll do. The Stewards interviewed S. Fitzgerald, rider of Not So Simple, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S. Fitzgerald was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(g)(excessive frequency) and 10.3(i)(time to respond). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended S. Fitzgerald for 1 raceday

Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
