Permission was given for Spirit Of Rowdown (GB) to be led to post early and for Lochnaver (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the final bend involving Spirit Mixer (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Joshua Bryan and Night Of Hope (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Luke Catton.
As a 7lb claimer, Catton was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Bryan was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he maneuvered right-handed when not clear of Night Of Hope (IRE), hampering the filly for some distance, causing Catton to take a check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving the winner, Rain Gauge (IRE), ridden by Luke Morris and Mark Of Respect (IRE), placed third, ridden by George Downing.
The interference was found to be accidental as Mark Of Respect (IRE) had hung badly right-handed, despite the best efforts of its rider to correct the gelding, hampering Rain Gauge (IRE) and taking it notably off its intended line.
Following the race, James Doyle reported that Invincible Gift (GB), placed seventh, was restless in the stalls and had then stopped quickly during the race; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
George Downing reported that Mark Of Respect (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed throughout the race.
