I don't think my heart will stand much more, it's still pounding. To have two winners on Champions Day is absolutely amazing. We came here today saying we could have one of those nearly weekends, with everything running really well and not getting a winner. Now to have two winners is absolutely amazing. For No Speak Alexander to win a Group 1 is great. Shane came in and said Real Appeal is 10lb better here than any other racecourse. He's won three races here now and he does nothing but improve. It's the first time he's won over a mile and it's really worked out. He's a funny horse, when he gets to the front he pulls himself up.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Maker Of Kings, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fifth and Real Appeal (GER), ridden by S. Foley, placed first, where it appeared Maker of Kings received interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that he received interference from his outer. S. Foley stated that his mount went left under a strong drive. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S. Foley was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and considering his record, they suspended him for 3 racedays
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mac Swiney, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards reviewed an incident early in the straight involving Current Option, ridden by R.P. Whelan, unplaced, Real Appeal (GER), ridden by S. Foley, placed first and Erzindjan, ridden by O.J. Orr, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
S. Foley, rider of Real Appeal (GER) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran around a bit in the straight.
