Permission was given for Come On You Spurs (GB) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving, Impelling (GB), unplaced, ridden by Adam Farragher and Nina Hermosa (GB), unplaced, ridden by Laura Pearson.
Pearson was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as she had allowed her mount to angle left-handed towards the rail without being fully clear of Impelling (GB), resulting in Farragher slightly catching the heels of Nina Hermosa (GB).
Inside the final furlong, Impelling (GB), unplaced, shifted right-handed whilst racing greenly, briefly hampering Come On You Spurs (GB), placed fourth.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Oliver Searle reported that One Moonbeam (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run in the home straight and Trevor Whelan reported that Come On You Spurs (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed and was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
