The Clerk of the Scales reported that Philip Armson, the rider of Blitz Spirit (IRE), placed fourth, trained by Alexandra Dunn, had weighed in at 10st 4lbs having weighed out at 10st 2lbs.
The rider, the trainer’s representative and the Clerk of the Scales were interviewed.
Armson was suspended for 3 days for weighing in at 2lb overweight.
Following the race, Conor Ring reported that Great Ridley (GB), unplaced, ran too free in the early stages and the Veterinary Officer reported tat Beannaigh Do (IRE), unplaced, lost its left fore shoe.
