Inside 2 furlongs out, Get Knotted (IRE), placed eighth, hung left moving VELLCO’S BOY, placed seventh, off its intended line but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Inside the final furlong, Delta River (GB), unplaced, moved slightly right which caused Rum Runner (GB), placed fifth, who had made the running to a legitimate gap, to shift right onto Get Knotted (IRE) which in turn moved SAISONS D’OR (IRE), unplaced, onto Dick Datchery (IRE), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that VELLCO’S BOY was denied a clear run approaching the final furlong and Connor Beasley reported that Get Knotted (IRE) hung left.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Delta River (GB), unplaced, bled from the nose.
