Permission was given for Coul Queen (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
The Raceday Privilege request in relation to Coul Queen (IRE), trained by David Evans, was late being submitted.
Evans was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all Raceday Privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
It was noted that Coul Queen (IRE), trained by David Evans, ran without its declared tongue strap which had come adrift leaving the Parade Ring and was unable to be refitted.
The Starter reported that Rattling Rosie (GB) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 8.

Tom Dascombe was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Inside the final half furlong, Spartan Fighter (GB), placed fifth, lugged right-handed, bumping Confrontational (IRE), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Following the race, Cameron Noble reported that Onebaba (IRE), unplaced, reared leaving the stalls and was very slowly away as a result; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, other than gelding lost its right-fore shoe.
Frederick Larson reported that Thrave (GB), placed seventh, suffered interference leaving the stalls, causing him to lose the use of his right- iron for a short distance and was also denied a clear run approaching the home bend.
