M.P. Sheehy, rider of Nerano (USA), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight on the rail about a furlong and a half out
R. Whearty, rider of Rockys Favourite, trained by Paul Mulligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slowly away
P.A. Harnett, rider of The Old Nine, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a pull two out and switched to the inside. Having reviewed the incident, the RacedayStewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
S. Foley, rider of Raknah, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. D. Buckley, Security Officer, in relation to Mr. Daniel Dunne being present in the parade ring following this race. Evidence was heard from Mr. Buckley and from Ms. Katy Brown, Trainer. Mr. Buckley stated that he noticed Mr. Dunne standing beside the horse in the parade ring post race despite him not being authorised to be in the parade ring. Ms. Brown stated that Mr. Dunne was walking through the parade ring. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards referred the matter to a Senior Racing Official for further investigation.
