Permission was given for Aqwaam (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
Billy Garritty rider of Animato (GB), drawn 6, had appeared not to keep straight from the stalls.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, the rider was suspended for 1 day.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Aqwaam (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Alistair Rawlinson and Lexington Knight (IRE), unplaced, ridden by P J McDonald.
McDonald was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he edged his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Aqwaam (GB) causing Rawlinson to take a check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out involving the winner Palace Boy (GER), ridden by George Rooke; Legacy Power (GB), unplaced, ridden by Harry Davies and Artisan Dancer (FR), placed second, ridden by Jack Mitchell.
The Stewards found that the first part of the incident was accidental in that Palace Boy (GER) had hung quickly left-handed into the path of Legacy Power (GB), which was hampered when tightened for room.
However, in relation to the second part of the incident Rooke was cautioned for careless riding as although he had been quick to react by putting his whip hand back on the reins, he had failed to make any discernible attempt to straighten his mount which continued shifting left into the path of Artisan Dancer (FR), which was slightly checked in its run.
Leaving the stalls Moliwood (GB), placed third, jumped right-handed carrying the winner Palace Boy (GER) onto Speedo Boy (FR), unplaced, which was inconvenienced as a result.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and had not improved the placing of Moliwood (GB).
Approaching 4 furlongs out Haaland (IRE), unplaced, lugged slightly right-handed moving Enthrallment (IRE), unplaced, off its intended line and causing the gelding to make contact with Chase The Dollar (GB), unplaced, resulting in that gelding being awkwardly placed on the heels of Moliwood (GB).
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approaching 2 furlongs out Legacy Power (GB), unplaced, edged slightly left-handed causing Artisan Dancer (FR), placed second, to be eased when short of room on the rail.
