The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the back of the first involving Dutch Schultz (GB), ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed first, Dark Image (GB), ridden by G.B. Noonan, who pulled up, and Duleek Street, ridden by B.W. Harvey, placed fifth where it appeared Dark Image went out through the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K. M. Donoghue stated that the horses in front jumped left causing him and the horse on his outer to jump left. G. B. Noonan stated that he received a bump in the air and went out through the rails on landing

B. W. Harvey stated that his mount jumped left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
