An enquiry was held to consider interference at the top of the home straight when Cockalorum (IRE), placed third, ridden by David Egan, interfered with Lunar Jet (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Jimmy Quinn.
Egan was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Lunar Jet (GB), causing Quinn to have to take a check against the rail.
Following the race, Cian MacRedmond reported that Jackamundo (FR), unplaced, was slowly away.
