An enquiry was held to consider why Milton Harris was running Clem A (GB) here at Chester on going described as Good (Good to Soft in Places), having declared the gelding a non-runner at Chester on 12 September 2020 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer’s representative stated that having spoken to the jockey, they were satisfied that the conditions were drying out and were therefore happy for Clem A (GB) to take its chance.
Permission was given for Clem A (GB) to wear a hood in the pre-Parade Ring only.
Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that Elmejor (IRE), unplaced, missed the break.
