Permission was given for Wadi Bani (GB) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries, for LE RAV (IRE) to go to post early, and for Bhubezi (GB) and Weydaad (GB) to be mounted in the chute.
The Starter reported that La Rav (IRE) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Lee Carter was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that La Rav (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
The Starter reported that Cieren Fallon, the rider of Sparkling Spirit (GB) had originally entered the wrong stall.
The rider and Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
The rider was cautioned.
The winner Green Power (GB), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Brighton on 18 September 2023, where the gelding finished fifth of six, beaten 22 lengths.
The representative of John Gallagher explained that the gelding may have appreciated the return to an all- weather surface and stripped fitter from its previous run which followed a long lay-off.
Their explanation was noted and Green Power (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Taylor Fisher reported that Mujid (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away.
