Permission was given for Blissful Song (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and to go early to post, and for Mellys Flyer (GB) and Pablo Del Pueblo (IRE) to go early to post.
The winner, Endowed (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Brighton on the 5 August 2022, where the gelding finished ninth of eleven, beaten by 8 ¾ lengths.
The representative of Tony Carroll explained that the gelding was suited by a fast early pace and may have appreciated the Good, Good to Firm ground on this occasion, having run on Good to Firm last time.

Following the race Aidan Keeley reported that Pablo Del Pueblo (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and hung right throughout which resulted in the saddle slipping in the closing stages.
