The winner, Cuban Secret (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Beverley on 16 May 2023 where the filly finished sixth of 10, beaten by 9½ lengths.
The representative of William Jarvis’ explanation that Cuban Secret (IRE) had appreciated the faster conditions, with the going officially described as Good to Firm, Good in places on this occasion, having previously run on Good to Soft going, was noted.
Cuban Secret (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Daniel Tudhope reported that Blow Me Away (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
