Permission was given for El Drama (IRE) to go early to post and for Yibir (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The Raceday privilege request in relation to El Drama (IRE), trained by Roger Varian, was late being submitted.
Varian was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all Raceday privilege requests are submitted before 1pm on the day before racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately a furlong after the start involving Foxes Tales (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa; Maximal (GB), placed second, ridden by Richard Kingscote and the winner, El Drama (IRE), ridden by Andrea Atzeni.
Atzeni was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his horse to edge left-handed, carrying Maximal (GB) onto Foxes Tales (IRE), causing De Sousa to take a slight check on the latter.
The performance of Ontario (IRE), which finished last of seven runners, was considered.
Ryan Moore reported that the colt weakened quickly and the representative of Aidan O’Brien could offer no explanation for Ontario (IRE)'s performance.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Ontario (IRE), during routine testing, found the colt to be slightly lame on his right-fore.
Following the race, Silvestre De Sousa reported that Foxes Tales (IRE), placed fifth, was never travelling and William Buick reported that Yibir (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed.
