After race at Curragh Fri, 13th Aug, 2021 (1st)
It’s been a great couple of days, big rides for Shane Kelly but he’s certainly delivered. I’ve been very happy with this horse since the Derby. Glyn (Davies, owner) lives just up the road from us and brought him home for two weeks after the Derby. He definitely improved for the break. I thought he might be one gallop short but is a horse that always keeps himself pretty fit. He’s a pretty active horse and always works good. We had pencilled in a mile and a half at Champions Weekend but he has free entry now (after winning this race) for the Irish Champion Stakes so we’ll have to think about that now. He’s an improving horse with a great will to win. When he went through the gap today you knew there was only going to be one winner. He stayed on really well. He has an entry in the English Champion Stakes later in the year.

After race at Curragh Sun, 23rd May, 2021 (1st)
He travelled everywhere and I got a nice lead down to the furlong pole. He doesn’t do much in front. It was great to get a horse like that into the yard after John Oxx retired and it’s brilliant to get a new owner into the yard as well. It’s heavy ground today. He didn’t mind it but it’s tough going. He’s entered at Epsom but there is free entry into the Irish Derby after winning this race so that’s another option. I’ll talk with the owner and we’ll decide what to do.

After race at Navan Sat, 27th Mar, 2021 (1st)
He’s a nice horse going forward and should improve from the run today. He’s crying out for a mile and a quarter and he should stay a mile and a half. Mr Oxx had him entered in the Derby. He’s a long way to go to get there but maidens at this time of the year are hard to win and what I loved about him today was his temperament. He came up the hill really well. Ben said he handled the ground well but I think he’d like better ground as well.
