Permission was given for Forever Proud (GB) and Nasneen (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
Kodiac Brave (IRE) overshot the start.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Surgeon upon arrival at the start, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
The Starter reported that Heerathetrack (GB) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 8.
33pm.
Mark Usher was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line when the winner, Bold Suitor (GB), ridden by Georgia Dobie, interfered with H Key Lails (GB), placed second, ridden by Kaiya Fraser.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Bold Suitor (GB)’s placing as the gelding had come from behind H Key Lails (GB) and despite receiving a slight brush H Key Lails (GB) appeared to suffer no loss of momentum from the slight drift, with the official winning distance being a short head, nor did Fraser ever have to stop riding his mount.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Dobie took sufficient steps to keep Bold Suitor (GB) straight despite shifting slightly right-handed.
Following the race, Taylor Fisher reported that United Force (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed throughout.
