He (Dancing City) did it well, it took him a while to get going but he was staying on the whole way to the line. The first and second are two nice horses. The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Dancing City (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first, and Littlefoot, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, placed second, where it appeared they made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr.H.C. Swan stated that he had received contact from his left. Mr.P.W. Mullins stated that he had kept a straight line and that he had received contact from his right causing his horse to turn slightly right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alterations to the judges placings and took no further action
