The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Ocean Legacy, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr Colm Hand, Authorised representative, stated that the horse ran previously on heavy ground and failed to act on it and also a switch to todays better ground had brought about todays apparent improvement. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the start of this race where after the tape was let go Definitely Darsi whipped unseating Sam Ewing and hampering Battle Of Benburb, Cru Bourgeois and Aodhan May. Having considered all the evidence and viewed a recording of the start, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that a fair start had been effected and took no further action.
