Permission was given for both Many A Star (IRE) and Dear Daphne (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Following the race, Cam Hardie reported that Broken Spear (GB), placed fourth, was slowly into stride and Darragh Keenan reported that Dear Daphne (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away from the stalls.

The winner, BLETCHLEY STORM, appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Brighton on 20 April 2024 where the filly finished eighth of twelve runners, beaten by 6 ½ lengths on ground officially described as Good, Good to Soft in places.
Michael Wigham’s explanation that BLETCHLEY STORM benefitted from the slower going on this occasion, officially described as Soft was noted.
BLETCHLEY STORM was routine tested.
Following the race, Frederick Larson reported that FAVORITE BOY, unplaced, ran in snatches.
