Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A. Balfe stated that he heard a shout that a rein was broke so he sat up to take back and his mount just went down on her head. T.E. O'Connor stated that he was carried out by Albatala. A. Harvey stated that his rein snapped, he was out of control and his mount went left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the bend after jumping the first hurdle involving Stoneyford Lady, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed fourth, and Kp's Ladyofknock, ridden by T.E. O'Connor, unplaced, where it appeared Stoneyford Lady briefly got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that it got tight on the point of the bend and he had to take back for a stride. T.E

O'Connor stated that as his mount changed legs she leaned in towards the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
