The Stewards requested a report from J. S. Bolger, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dawn Hoofer, placed first, as compared with its recent run. Gerard Flynn, Authorised representative of J.S. Bolger reported that the change in riding tactics today whereby the filly was allowed to race prominent compared to her run at Sligo on the 22nd May where she was dropped in to switch off but never picked up the bridle was a contributing factor along with the good underfoot conditions this evening which she appreciated. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report
The Stewards informed Thomas Cooper, trainer of Jazz Lady, that his charge could be liable to suspension if she were to repeat her reluctance to race from stalls in the future.
An extended handicap for three yrs old only rated 45-75
