Fly The Nest (IRE), drawn 1, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after leaving the stalls when Cappananty Con (GB), placed third, ridden by William Carson, interfered with Luxy Lou (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Finley Marsh.
Carson was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed Cappananty Con (GB) to drift left- handed when insufficiently clear of Luxy Lou (IRE), causing Marsh to take a slight check.
Jason Hart, the rider of Miss Calculation (IRE), was unseated turning into the home straight.
The rider and Rossa Ryan, the rider of Fly The Nest (IRE), were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
After interviewing both riders and viewing recordings of the incident, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame due to there being limited camera angles of the incident.
Following the race, George Wood reported that Good Humor (GB), unplaced, was hampered by the loose- running Miss Calculation (IRE) turning into the home straight and thereafter hung right-handed.
Finley Marsh reported that Luxy Lou (IRE), placed fourth, stopped quickly; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination revealed the mare had bled from the nose.
