Anastasia O'Brien, rider of War Goddess, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount got no run in the straight. W.J. Lee, rider of Gold Struck (GB), trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise from four furlongs out. The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the last 150 yards involving Ruby Gates, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second and Serefeli, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed first, where it appeared that Serefeli drifted towards Ruby Gates. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings' and took no further action.
An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards rated 45-65 that, at entry, have not won a race since 1st January 2016
