The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Haveuseentherain trained by S.G.Walsh was noted to have blood at the left nostril post race

Kieran Callaghan, rider of Courting Vickie trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled during this race

The Stewards interviewed J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Royal Rhythm, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, J.P. O'Sullivan stated that his mount was tiring and he was trying to keep the animal concentrating on jumping the last hurdle. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that J.P. O'Sullivan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(3)(i) by failing to give his mount at least three strides to respond. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.P
