Permission was given for SHE’S CENTIMENTAL (USA) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Strike (GB), placed third ridden by Rob Hornby interfered with Bright (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Finley Marsh and SHE’S CENTIMENTAL (USA), unplaced, ridden by David Egan.
The interference was found to be accidental as Strike (GB) moved quickly left-handed away from Lihou (GB), placed second, causing Bright (IRE) to be short for room between Strike (GB) and SHE’S CENTIMENTAL (USA).
Following the race, Richard Kingscote reported that Ultramarine (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run for a sustained period over the final furlong.
