E. McNamara, trainer of Silver Planeur (FR), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge got a fright at the second fence and lost his confidence thereafter
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning out of the back straight involving R'evelyn Pleasure, ridden by R.J. Condon, and Blast Of Koeman, ridden by P.T. Enright where it appeared that Blast Of Koeman got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. T. Enright stated that his mount got a little tight for room but felt if was of little consequence. R.J. Condon stated that his mount moved slightly right rounding the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
