She’s a genuine little filly, and I’d imagine somebody will claim her. She’s very straight forward and sound, and should give someone a bit of fun. I didn’t think she should have been 25/1 as in her grade she had decent enough form. She had a nice draw and Ben Coen gave her a lovely ride. He saved a bit of ground, produced her at the right time and got it on the nod. John M Oxx, trainer

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Vormir, ridden by C.T. Keane, fifth, Jawbone, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fourth and Be Like The Bird, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed first, where it appeared Vormir ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.
