Carroll and CHILLINGHAM (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Callum Rodriguez were all hampered by the unseat of Tom Marquand approximately 7 furlongs out.

The performance of QUEENSTOWN (IRE) which finished unplaced, was considered.

The representative of Aidan O’Brien explained that the gelding was unsuited by the going which was officially described as Good to Firm and would prefer an easier surface.

Their explanation was noted and QUEENSTOWN (IRE) was routine tested.

Following the race, Jim Crowley reported that NAQEEB (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away, David Probert reported that FAIRBANKS, unplaced, was denied a clear run from approaching the final 2 furlongs and Colin Keane reported that HIPOP DE LOIRE (FR), placed fifth, was repeatedly denied a clear run inside the final 1 ½ furlongs.
