it's lovely for Steven; he rang me before to go to Sedgefield one day and the horse won. He rang me about this lad during the week and I was delighted to ride him for him. He's not too bad I'd say. He's a very very nice horse, he's done his job and he was plenty green enough down the straight. He'll improve nicely from that as well. Steven has done a great job with him.

The Stewards received a report from Ms. Nicola O' Connor, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that she was unable to positively identify Kapard (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, from the markings contained in the passport presented for this horse. Evidence was heard from the trainer's Authorised Representative, Alan Coady and the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Kapard (GB) and referred the matter to the C.E.O of the Irish Horse Racing Regulatory body for further investigation
The Stewards interviewed Mr J. Hogan, rider of Mahons Glory, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. J. Hogan in breach of Regulation 10. 3 (g) excessive frequency and (i) time to respond. Having considered Mr. J. Hogan's record in this regard the stewards suspended Mr. J
