Permission was given for Eldelbar (SPA) to be led to post early and for Raffle King (IRE) to be mounted on the track and go to post early.
The Starter reported Jeffrey Harris (GB) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Jim Goldie was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Jeffrey Harris (GB) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
On leaving the stalls, Picks Pinta (GB), unplaced, jumped right as Raffle King (IRE), unplaced, jumped left causing interference to Deeds Not Words (IRE), unplaced.
