FormscanBy Tom Weekes - This is an ordinary contest and it is hoped GARDE LA PECHE can erase a disappointing Christmas run and win. Bought for 170,000 pounds having beaten a subsequent dual UK hurdle winner by 12 lengths in a point-to-point last March, she flopped at Limerick when reported to be 'post race normal'. She reappears in a first-time tongue-tie, dropping in distance. Desert Cave was also useful in point-to-points but has been well held in recent hurdles while stablemate Beggars Rock was placed in an October point but has been beaten long distances recently and runs in a first-time tongue-tie. Zulu Mike had place prospects when falling at Thurles recently and should progress while Bernie's Legacy showed ability on debut at Gowran. On Your Way is a difficult ride while stablemate Opposite Ends returns from a long layoff. Bondi Boy Blue makes a somewhat belated debut while stablemate Duchamps Art is out of a bumper winning dam.
