I ran him last night and I suppose most people probably wouldn't run him back - he went to the beach this morning and he did half an hour there. He grubbed up last night and we just said we had nothing to lose. When he gets back into that grade, he's dangerous. He's probably after booking a ticket west as well!. He's solid out and he's a great fun horse. When he comes down to his mark, he wins. That's the good thing about horses like him. He's sound as a pound and solid. Keep them nice and sweet, and they are great. In all fairness, Adam was good on him. He's (Comfort Line) a lazy brat at home! You have to get after him, but he kept at it well. He gave him a good spin and knows the horse well. Delighted for the Dooley boys in England. They bought a new horse yesterday in England as well. They are a great supporter of the yard. Martin White is involved as well and he is a local guy. It is great for them.

this horse ran in the Lincoln at the start of the year so was a high-class enough horse who was down to a winnable mark. I know he just held on to win the last day but he was far better and had a nicer draw tonight. In all fairness, the handicapper gave him a chance and Adam was very good on him and didn't panic. I don't think he is entered up next week. We'll see what happens and won't panic.

That's grand as we have lost a few and have had a dose of seconditis. I just didn't know as it always favours the lad coming at you, thanks be to God he did (hold on). I was going to take him out and wait until next Wednesday over the mile and two. He's a funny old horse and last week he didn't travel over a mile and two. Today, he was tanking over a mile, so he's just one of those type of horses but a good fun horse. He has been a bit frustrating, but at least he has a win now for Martin (White) and Dooley Thoroughbreds. We will be quiet enough on Wednesday, but will have a few this day next week. Then we are getting thin on the ground for the horses. We are looking forward to getting a little bit of a break for the lads. A good few of them will be away on holidays. I'll sit back and watch a good bit of racing at Leopardstown over Christmas, so I'm looking forward to that!

He’s a nice horse and I think he’ll make into a far better four-year-old than he is at three. He’s big, nearly 16.3, and is only filling into his frame. The breed get better as they get older.

Leigh (Roche) felt he didn't get home the last day and I think he will get ten furlongs eventually as he is still maturing. He'll go to Galway for a 3yo handicap next. The family only get better with age and I hope he will develop into the horse I think he is.
