Yokkell (5/2f) doubled her career total in the Tote Download The App Handicap at Ballinrobe.

She travelled well in third for Colin Keane on the climb to the final quarter of a mile and mounted her challenge between horses approaching the straight.

A line of three horses held chances at the furlong pole as Comfort Line and Celebrating Ethel sandwiched Yokkell.

Celebrating Ethel cracked first inside the final 150 yards as Yokkell led narrowly from Comfort Line. Yokkell then dug deep for Colin Keane to win going away by a length and three-parts.

Comfort Line ran a solid race in second at 33/1 and finished a short head in front of a keeping-on Persian Queen (13/2).

Trainer Jarlath Fahey said: "She's ultra-consistent, she's picked up a cheque every time in the last 12 or 13 runs. She was very honest again today.

"Colin said she found a bit for him under pressure and that the short run-in down the bit of a hill suited her, she was able to keep her momentum up.

"There's nothing really suitable for her at Galway, so we'll see how she comes out of this and pick something out for her in a couple of weeks' time.

"It's a gift having a horse like her and she's a great yardstick to have in the yard."

Yokkell's other victory came in an apprentice handicap at Tipperary in August last year.
