Permission was given for Sir David (FR) to wear a red hood to post.
1 furlong out, Sir David (FR), placed third, shifted quickly left-handed despite the rider’s best efforts to prevent the gelding in doing so, taking Lucius Aurelius (GB), placed fourth, off its intended line, which in turn, caused Our Mighty Mo (IRE), unplaced, to become short of room against the rail, then colliding with the rail and becoming unbalanced as a result, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of any runner.
Following the race, Jason Hart reported that Sir David (FR), placed third, ran green and Sam James reported that Our Mighty Mo (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference 1 furlong out.
