Leaving the stalls, Amroon (GB), placed fourth, jumped left-handed giving a bump to Havana Mojito (GB), unplaced, which was then further tightened for room when Ritzy (GB), unplaced, shifted sharply right-handed from its inside but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Amroon (GB).

Approaching the final furlong, Perelle (GB), unplaced, lugged right-handed at the same time as Naval Flight (IRE), unplaced, edged slightly left-handed, resulting in the rider of Ludberg (GB), unplaced, having to steady and switch wider in order to continue his run, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

An enquiry was held to consider interference passing one furlong out involving Dadas Boy (IRE), placed third, ridden by Rossa Ryan, Pinpoint (GB), placed second, ridden by Alec Voikhansky and Naval Flight (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Cieren Fallon.

Voikhansky was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as after initially being taken off his intended line by Dadas Boy (IRE) hanging left-handed before being corrected by Ryan in a timely manner, he had thereafter continued to ride his mount forward whilst shifting left- handed into the path of Naval Flight (IRE), causing Fallon to take a check.

Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Dadas Boy (IRE), placed third, hung left-handed in the straight and James Sullivan reported that Havana Mojito (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed throughout.
