An enquiry was held to consider why Marco Botti was running Kodiac Lass (IRE) here at Yarmouth on going described as Soft, Heavy in places, having declared the filly a non-runner also at Yarmouth on 14 October 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer’s representative stated that the filly is entered in the Tattersalls Horses in Training sale next week so are therefore happy for Kodiac Lass (IRE) to take its chance and run here today.
Following the race, Gerald Mosse reported that Hi Ho Silver (GB), which finished last of the eleven runners, was never travelling and Chris Wall reported that the gelding was unsuited by the Soft, Heavy in places ground on this occasion and would prefer a quicker surface.
