The winner Semser (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 22 July 2022 where the gelding finished tenth of ten, beaten by 45 lengths.
Gary Moore’s representative’s explanation that Semser (GB) appreciated a stronger pace on this occasion and the drop in grade was noted and the gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Magical Dragon (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed and Hollie Doyle reported First Snowfall (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported a post-race examination of the mare failed to reveal any abnormalities.
