Following the race, Kieran Shoemark reported that Big Wing (IRE), placed seventh, hung left-handed, Laura Pearson reported that Ritchie Valens (IRE), placed fifth, was slowly away and hung right- handed and Ben Curtis reported that Frankly Mr Shankly (GER), placed second, hung right-handed in the straight.
Oisin Murphy reported that Arctic Vega (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by having to race wide without cover and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
