The Starter reported that Nigg Bay (IRE) was unruly in the starting stalls and withdrawn.
J F Levins was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The winner, Tathmeen (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Southwell on 1 January 2019 where the gelding finished eighth of nine, beaten 7 lengths.
Anthony Brittain’s representative’s explanation that the gelding benefited from a drop back in trip from 6f to 5f was noted.
Tathmeen (IRE) was routine tested.
