The Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Timourid, placed First, as compared with its recent run under the Rules of Racing at Roscommon on the 31st May
Ms Meghan Donovan, Authorised representative for the trainer, reported that Timourid was having his first run for the yard at Roscommon and had a wind surgery since then. She added that Timourid was also wearing blinkers for the first time today since joining their yard and furthermore that the front running riding tactics in a low standard race may have brought about the improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report
David Peter Nagle, trainer of Yester, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that in his opinion his charge did not stay todays trip.
