The race was for horses rated 109 or less but he won it handy and jumped well. Dropping him out cold and settling him is probably the way to ride him. He works very well and while his work hasn't materialised, he showed up today. It was absolutely beautiful ground out there. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Red Trail, trained by Andrew McNamara, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have coughed a few times following the race but was otherwise post race normal

Mr N. Gault, rider of Tomannie, trained by S. Michael Millar, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount slipped up independently of any other horse. Having reviewed a recording of the incident the Raceday Stewards are satisfied that no further action was warranted.
